We were really pleased when we reach Burlington. It would be nice not to have to change beds for a few days! We have always made it a point when we go to Canada for vacation we stop off and visit with our friends Bernie and Jean. Last year Bernie died but we have kept in touch with Jean and she was happy to have us come to stay for a few days.
Mike was glad of a well earned rest from driving and loading and unloading the car as was I. Jean lives at the present time on the 10th floor of a high rise building in Burlington. It is a cozy little apartment and Jean always makes us feel very welcome. This time she apologized that everything was in slight disorder as she was moving soon to live with her daughter. |

I glanced out the window and saw that we had just missed a big storm so we had been very lucky in our drive to Canada.Usually you can see Lake erie from this balcony!
I've only ever driven through Burlington, should pay more attention next time we visit Niagara!
